FIU at CubaNostalgia

CubaNostalgia, the traditional festival of everything Cuban, is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a Quinceañera theme. As in previous years, FIU will be present at CubaNostalgia, led by the Cuban Research Institute with the collaboration of the FIU Library and the College of Architecture + Arts. We invite members of the community to visit our booth to collect the beautiful 2013 FIU commemorative poster, play dominoes, enjoy an exhibit of domino pieces made by FIU students, and navigate a giant aerial map of Havana. We will also showcase some of our outstanding collections such as the Díaz-Ayala Popular Music Collection, the Pérez Collection of Classic Cuban Paintings (recently donated by Darlene and Jorge Pérez to CRI), and video clips of the public lecture by Yoani Sánchez at FIU.
We encourage you to visit the FIU booth located in the southwest corner of the Darwin Fuchs Pavilion in the Miami-Dade Fair Expo Center.
