Teacher Training Workshop: Cuban Art from the 19th through the 21st Centuries

In partnership with Miami Dade County Public Schools, FIU's Latin American and Caribbean Center (LACC) and Cuban Research Institute (CRI) and the Pérez Art Museum of Miami will sponsor a two-day workshop for Miami Dade county public school teachers. Led by Aldo Menéndez, Cuba's first performance and photo realist artist, the workshop will examine the significance of Cuban art of the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, and will feature demonstrations by Cuban artist Ivonne Ferrer.
