Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) cannot afford to spend large amounts of money in the training of sales staff, specifically when selling to other companies. What can you do to improve your sales results? The answer is simple: you must continue to invest in staff development to grow the business. You need to nurture the ideas and tactics used by large companies to promote and sell their products and adapt them to the capabilities of small businesses. How and when can you start?

Register for this virtual workshop on sales techniques for small Hispanic-owned businesses in Miami, cosponsored by CasaCuba, the Cuban Research Institute, and the College of Business at FIU. The workshop is geared toward both business owners and salespersons, with a focus on Latino and Cuban entrepreneurs. The event, to be conducted in Spanish, will be broadcast live on Zoom on March 18, 2021, from 7 to 9 PM. Registration is free but required.

The workshop will be led by Rafael Soltero Venegas, an associate teaching instructor in the Department of Marketing and Logistics of FIU’s College of Business. Professor Soltero Venegas holds an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, and has taught several courses in business sales and marketing.
