Faculty
The Cuban Research Institute draws upon the expertise of more than 40 faculty members, the largest nucleus of specialists on Cuba or the Cuban-American community of any university in the United States. Specializing in 19 different disciplines, CRI's faculty associates are distributed across the colleges and schools of the university, from the humanities and social sciences, to law, architecture, and journalism. Major research topics include Cuban migration, ethnicity, racial politics, immigration law, health and aging, contemporary literature, film studies, modern art, classical music, landscape architecture, environmental change, and tropical plant conservation.
