CRI Director Invited to Participate in Panel Discussion on Cuba at UCLA Fowler Museum

The Fowler Museum at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) has invited Dr. Jorge Duany to participate in a panel discussion entitled "State of Affairs: Cuba Today," to be held on January 29, 2017, at 2:00 PM. The panel will address Cuban cultural identity, tourism, and the reinsertion of Cuba into a global market. Moderated by Dr. Raúl Fernández, Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Irvine, the panel will include, along with Dr. Duany, Adolfo Nodal, partner at Cuba Tours and Travel; and Dr. Mrinalini Tankha, Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Irvine.

In addition, Dr. Duany will deliver two lectures on changing U.S.-Cuba relations at Pomona College and at the University of California, Irvine.
