The Cuban Research Institute presents the concert Classically Cuban: Cuban Music in the U.S.

This program presents music compiled by author and independent scholar, Emilio Cueto. It explores pieces written from 1840 through the 1990s by Cuban composers living in both Cuba and the U.S. Highlights include songs from Hollywood’s silver screen that brought Cuban music to the masses and touched millions of people across the globe.
