- Dr. Elizabeth Aranda, Professor of Sociology and Director of the Immigrant Well-Being Research Center at the University of South Florida
- Dr. Phillip Carter, Associate Professor of Linguistics and Director of the Center for the Humanities in an Urban Environment at Florida International University
- Dr. Eduardo Gamarra, Professor of Politics and International Relations at Florida International University
- Prof. Ana Menéndez, Associate Professor with joint appointments with the Wolfsonian Public Humanities Lab and the Department of English at Florida International University
