Gene Rosenberg, Ph.D., is assistant teaching professor in marine sciences in the Department of Biological Sciences at Florida International University.
Dr. Rosenberg's areas of expertise are physiological and community ecology of marine macroalgae, biogeography and floristics of marine macroalgae in Florida and the Caribbean, and scientific cooperation between the U.S. and Latin America. He was the associate chair of the Department of Biological Sciences at FIU and president of the Botanical Society of Washington.
Professor Rosenberg holds a Ph.D. in marine biology.
